Little miss Swede enter the scene with such powerful compositions that the rock soul shivers. Katarina Jacobsson explores the music from sing- and songwriters traditions genre pictures antipoles metal and more traditionell hardcore. The influences are clear as crystal from the times she performed with genuine rockbands such as Tiamat or her own project CorpusX. Now she´s on her own with her touching voice, her guitar or piano. You´ll often find the jazzguitarist Stefan Viklund by her side, who adds the colours that makes the palette complete. When right arrangment and atmosphere appears she brings full crew.
Lately she has been playing with Lisa Gideonsson, bass and backvocals, Daniel Antonsson (Pathos, Dimension Zero) guitar, Hasse Kosonen (Elixir), drums, Eric Rosén and Ulf Kristoffersson, guitars (Once we were), Gonzalo J Reyes(Clicken), Nils Kjerstadius mfl.

I describe my music as dynamic and touching raw rock, where I want to keep it simple with an honest vivid feeling and very intence. Usually i play aucustic alone or with friends, they put their colour to the music and make things more exiting for me and the audience.

About myself...
I was born in Vadstena, at the countryside by the lake called Vättern. My mum had churchcoirs and played piano so me and my older sister starded to sing and play piano in very early age. i composed my first song at the age of 5.

Music-wise: Jeff Buckley, Dave Grohl, Nirvana, (a LOT of the old Seattle grungebands actually..) The Strokes, Ryan Adams, Helmet, Prince, Pink Floyd I could go on forever....
Like art and photo, try to update myself as offen as I can.

The sea and the ocean, love to go fishing, surf, bathing, the beaches, just about everything. Water has a way to ease things a bit for me..
I love to eat and to make dinners, kind of a hobby for me, having dinners with good friends and good wine, I like! Love Italian and Mexican food.

Love to travel, smell, see, feel meet new people, become fascinated of all cultures and people!
